Now more than ever we need a strategic plan to secure our Southern border. Illegal immigrants, drug smugglers, human traffickers and potential terrorists are crossing our borders at an alarming rate and must be stopped for their safety and ours. My blueprint for border security is the first strategic, asset based, comprehensive plan to attack this problem in a rational and deliberate manner.

WASHINGTON - Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of Homeland Security Oversight & Investigations and member of the Foreign Affairs Middle East Subcommittee, called for the immediate closing of U.S. embassies and consulates in Egypt and Libya, withdraw of U.S. government personnel from both countries, suspension of aid to those countries, and expulsion of their diplomats from the United States.
